British Sign Language

Was chatting to someone at the weekend about sign language. so I thought I'd share with you a couple of signs that amused me at least.

Airplane - Make your right hand into an airplane with the thumb and little finger as the wings. Now make it fly towards the person as shown.

OK - now hold you left hand out flat. Make the "plane" land on your left hand. Great... that's the sign for an airport

Your pictures aren't displaying on my computer.

I support a Deaf lady teaching BSL. When students learn the sign for aeroplane they always sign it like the plane has turbulence. The sign should be a smooth moment but people get carried away with it, LOL!
