Freddie the Fox

Driving back yesterday we stopped off at the Old Winchester Hill Nature Reserve. In the car park was a fox. Just wondering around. We didn’t have any food on us, so we did try to tempt it to come closer with some apples that that fallen off a nearby tree.

‘That’s Freddie’, said a bloke from another car. Who proceeded to pull out a packet of digestive biscuits and started to feed the fox. Apparently, about six months ago he’d come across the fox while picnicking in the area and found the she liked digestive biscuits and has been feeding her every day since then. He’s hoping that she’ll have cubs next summer, that is if the local farmer and keen huntsman doesn’t get her first.

Got some good pics at the Freddie the Fox Gallery
